Monochrome skirt.

Hey ladies! Hope you all had a fantastic valentines day, and got plenty of lovin! Frankie and I actually didn't do much this year, we did the whole gift-giving thing last year but as we have the wedding coming up it seemed a bit silly to spend extra dosh on gifts and cards - every penny counts! So we chose to just sit in, ordered a kebab and watched some good old evening tv!

So today is all about this skirt! As you guys know I am already obsessed with black and white - yes, I'm boring, love the classics and am a little shy of colour (help!) so when I saw this skirt in River Island (yes, can you believe it?!) I had to have it.
It's a wrap skirt, and it rouched at the top to give it that rough look when you tie it which I'm loving. Its so runway, and with monochrome being huge this season its a perfect purchase and so wearable! I absolutely love the material - its got a sort of rough hessian but is softer to the touch. It's of course high waisted so I paired it with a super easy Miss Guided turtle neck jumper and a camel coat. I'm also wearing black pointed booties too! The are pretty bold so I don't think this skirt would need much else to add to it, since it pretty much speaks for itself, and thats why it's so easy to wear! It'd be also fab on a night out with a pair of heels!
