Blue Hues.

Elo elo! Yesterday Frankie and I spent the day roaming the streets of our favourite city and home, Belfast, touring all of the homey/interior stores - Next, M&S, Avoca, Debenhams and the like - to get our heads in gear for our first house together. We are so excited to be able to say that we have finally found a house we can call home for the first couple of years of our marriage, before we take the plunge to buy. Finding the right place was tough, but we really wanted to find a house that would be the right size for us, small and cosy but light and bright and close to the city centre. Frankie will be moving in before me, and then I'll move in when we're married - it's all coming together so quickly! We'll definitely be getting some painting done which I'm looking forward to, and I can't wait to get into styling it in our own way! Ikea here I come! On another note, who knew Zara started a home collection? I'm all over that one! Their pieces are so stylish and original, definitely putting some bits on my list! If you haven't seen it, head over to their website - you'll just love it!

This shirt is one of my favourites at the moment, it looks like a light denim but its actually a light cotton mix, so makes the double denim look so simple! It's the perfect shade of blue for summer, too. The one I'm wearing is a Topshop one, as are my jeans. And could I please get a HECK YEAH for my bargain buy lace up shoes? £14 in Primark, no kidding - winner! They also come in a gorgeous Khaki green colour which I was tempted to get too but my inner good-girl reasoned with me. My necklace I bought in Australia from I store I can't remember the name of, but I've included some similar items below for ya!

P.s. If you can see it, my nail colour is this beautiful summery lilac. I'm not really a fan of purples, especially lilac because it makes me look even paler than I already am, but lots of people ask me what colour this is so if you'd like to try it, its the Barry M Gelly Hi Shine in "3Y". Lovely for summer!

Until next time,
Ems xo

    1. Hey Julia! I know right? I was so chuffed with my shopping skills ;). Thank you, it makes it so much easier to wear "double denim" without making it look too heavy! x
